Awards for ‚Tirol from above‘
The new Cine Tirol trailer 'Tirol from above' focuses on the beauty of Tirol: viewers are taken on an emotional journey over the breathtaking and impressive Tyrolean mountain landscape, where the combination of alpine wilderness and architecture can also be discovered. In addition, the trailer is intended to emotionally touch people from all over the world and inspire them to choose Tirol as a future holiday destination or filming location. The music by Danielle Barrett 'A Silent Prayer' is meant to emphasise the meditative experience one can have in the course of exploring and discovering the mountain world of Tirol.
For the first time on the big screen and in front of an audience, ‚Tirol from above‘ was shown as part of Cine Tirol’s 20th anniversary celebrations in Berlin 2018 and has already been used at Cine Tirol premieres and as part of Tyrolean film festivals supported by Cine Tirol. The production took part in the 2019 CIFFT Circuit, an association of 18 international film festivals for the travel and tourism industry, and won a total of three awards. The image film won the ‚Best Film in Category Nature‘ award at the FilmAT Festival in Warsaw, the award for ‚Best Tourism Promo Film‘ at the Silver Lake Tourfilm Festival in Veliko Gradiste/Serbia and 3rd place in the ‚Region International‘ category at the ‚Golden City Gate‘ in Berlin.

The International Committee of Tourism Film Festivals (CIFFT) was founded in Vienna in 1989 to recognise excellence in video marketing in the travel industry. Today, the 18 most renowned film festivals in the travel and tourism industry work together under CIFFT.
