How did you get into film? What particularly attracted you to become part of this industry?
My training in media design and communication brought me into contact with film, radio and journalism at an early stage. I have always been fascinated by the creation of an overall project. Working independently from the initial idea to the finished product. The fact that the medium of film can also have such a strong emotional power that moves people grabbed me and never let go. In the film industry, project-based work appeals to me because I like to put a lot of effort into my work and I also like it when the work has a visible goal.
What distinguishes Tirol as a film region for you?
With its incredibly beautiful and diverse nature, Tirol has great potential as a film region. This opportunity has already been seen and seized, but I believe that there is still more to be done here and I am delighted to be able to make my contribution.
We are curious: Tell us your favourite location in Tirol!!
My favorite location in Tyrol is actually my own vineyard in Itzlranggen, 20 km west of Innsbruck. Surrounded by a mighty mountain backdrop, the vines show their full range of colors, especially in autumn. This is where my family produces Tyrolean wine, where I recharge my batteries and where I hope to welcome a film crew one day.
And now: The stage is yours! Please introduce yourselves and your field of activity.
„The stage is yours“ is a good idea, because I am an actress and have been positioning myself on stage and in front of the camera for some time now. I have already worked behind the camera as a lighting assistant for Filmlicht.at on various commercials and the ORF live program „Mei liabste Weis“. For the short film „Ins Wilde Land“ I was able to work as an intimacy coordinator and my most recent project was the Amazon Prime film „Your Christmas or Mine 2“, where I worked as an extras caster for CreativeCreatures.
When I’m not working on film or theater projects, I work at home in my own vineyard and market the farm’s produce in our farm tavern (www.gutlebenhofschank.at). Working in agriculture is a welcome balance for me and also gives me the flexibility to be ready for the next project at any time.
